Mandy Hicken

Mandy Hicken is Chair of the LA Equal Opportunities Sub-Committee and is Branch Councillor for the East Midlands Branch, an area of the country which has a high number of ethnic minorities.

She worked for Derbyshire Library Service, in which equal opportunities issues were a way of life. Since taking early retirement she has been engaged in research, and takes a particular interest in social inclusion.
