Paul Pedley, Head of Research at the Economist Intelligence Unit and a well known writer and speaker, will lead the course.
Programme features:
  • The problem of the invisible web;
  • Explaining the jargon : different sub-sets of the Internet;
  • The types of information it contains;
  • If it's invisible, how do you find the information?
  • Invisible web resources for: company information, market research, statistics, legal information;
  • Hands-on time to work through sample enquiries.

The invisible web is not only much bigger than the visible or open web, but it is also growing exponentially and the need to know about invisible web resources is becoming increasingly important.
