Venue: Abbey Conference Suite, South Bank University, 103 Borough Road, London SE1 0AA.
Information services increasingly recognise the importance of Content Management: to keep any web site up to date, to encourage contributions to an intranet, without losing control of site structure, design and usability, to personalise a site for different users and to manage digitised content or licensed resources.
LITC and LAMIT invite you to book now for Content Management for information professionals, a conference aimed specifically at those working in libraries, museums and archives.
The meeting will have overviews of Content Management issues and technologies, case studies and an expert panel.
Do you
- need to keep your site up to date, but are working on your own?
- want everyone to contribute to your intranet, without losing control of site structure, design and usability?
- want to personalise your site for different users?
- have a lot of digitised content you need to manage?
- have lots of links to e-journals and other e-content?
- want to get involved in your organisation's procurement of a CM system?
If any of these does apply to you the chances are you need a content management strategy.
This conference is aimed at those running web sites and intranets for information services, and those with strategic responsibility for the development of web based services.
