TERMS OF REFERENCE

The PAG will consider and, where appropriate, make recommendations on:

  • How LIS can engage effectively with the new regional and sub-regional structures.
  • The nature of the agendas at those levels (economic, social, health, cultural and environmental regeneration, lifelong learning, learning and skills councils etc) and the LIS contribution.
  • The Government and Resource agenda and the emerging regional library and cultural structures.
  • The impact of ICT and networks.
  • How the experience of the four home nations can inform and influence the regional agendas within those home nations.
