& conclusion
This short report details
the results of a small questionnaire based survey carried out by the IWG in
late 2000.
Survey
The IWG received
1,173 response, 94% of them from LA members and the remaining 6% from IIS members.
Vision
Altogether 68% of respondents
feel that the Vision meets the stated aims quite well or very will.
Name
Among the names proposed,
the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals is
more popular among both LA and IIS members than the Library and Information
Society, but both are minority choices.
