In addition, the School of Information Management at Leeds Metropolitan University is currently undertaking a major policy research project into Public Library Policy and Social Exclusion. This is being funded by the library and Information Commission. A report to the LIC and executive briefings aimed at both librarians and policy makers will be available at the end of the project in Spring 2000, and a number of working papers are being prepared, some of which are already available.
