Informing Government:

Government Library and Information Services in the Information Age

IFLA 2002 – Pre-conference Seminar, London, 14-15 August 2002

IFLA Section of Government Libraries
in association with the
Government Libraries Group of The Library Association

The IFLA section of Government Libraries and the Government Libraries of the UK Library Association organized an international seminar in London in the week immediately before the 68th IFLA Conference in Glasgow.

Developing the themes of the main conference – Libraries for Life: Democracy, Diversity, Delivery, the seminar covered a range of topics on issues central to work in government libraries today.

Papers from the seminar and presentations from the host libraries will be posted on this site as they become available.  The organising committee hopes eventually to publish the papers in hard copy.
